RISE Local Meetup Organization Guide
This guide provides recommended steps to help you organize a successful RISE Meetup. While you aren't required to follow the entire checklist, it serves as a comprehensive resource for event planning.
Before the Meetup
Planning & Preparation
- Determine event focus and goals (e.g., DeFi infrastructure, technical deep-dive)
- Choose suitable date, time, and venue
- Secure speakers and confirm topics
- Submit proposal to RISE team for support review
- Create event registration (Lu.ma recommended)
- Book necessary equipment (projector, mics, etc.)
- Plan refreshments/catering if applicable
Promotion
- Create event announcement with clear description and agenda
- Share with RISE team for amplification
- Post across key channels:
- RISE Discord #local-events
- Local tech/blockchain groups
- Twitter/social with @rise_chain tagged
- Relevant university/developer communities
- Send calendar invites and reminders to registered attendees
- Coordinate with speakers on final presentations
- Request RISE branding materials and swag if needed
Final Checks

During the Meetup
